What is SHADOW
Private payments on Solana, from the wallet you already use.
On Solana every transfer is public: anyone can open your wallet and see who you paid, how much and when. SHADOW breaks that link. You shield SOL or USDC once, and every payment after that comes from a shared pool instead of from your wallet.
The idea in one paragraph
When you shield, your funds become notes: encrypted records in a public tree that only your account can open. When you pay, your browser produces a zero-knowledge proof that you own enough notes, without saying which ones. A relayer submits the payment, so the transaction is signed and paid by the relayer, not by you. On chain the sender is the pool.
What you get
- No new seed phrase: your private account is derived from one signature of your existing wallet.
- Pay a normal Solana address (it receives a plain transfer from the pool) or a SHADOW address (nothing public moves at all).
- Withdrawal waves: payouts leave together every 15 minutes, so the timing stops pointing at you.
- Screened deposits: sanctioned addresses cannot put funds into the pool.
